About the Russian Chemical Bulletin

The Russian Chemical Bulletin is the English edition of the Izvestiya Akademii Nauk, Seriya Khimicheskaya, previously published as the Bulletin of Academy of the Sciences of the USSR. Division of Chemical Science (1951 - 1992), as the Bulletin of the Russian Academy of the Sciences. Division of Chemical Science (1992). The Russian Chemical Bulletin is a mounthly jornal covering practically all areas of fundamental chemical research, published by Kluwer Academic/Plenum Publishers.

Nearly 500 scientific manuscripts containing the results of original studies are published annually as Full Papers, Brief Communications, and Letters to the Editor. Additionally, every issue contains one or two review articles as well as information concerning current affairs in the Russian Academy of Sciences, chemistry-related Research Institutes and Centers, International Chemistry Conferences and Symposia held in Russia.

The main contributors to the Russian Chemical Bulletin are scientists from Research Institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences and other Research Centers and Universities of Russia. In addition, in recent years scientists from more than twenty countries were among our authors.

High scientific standards of publications are ensured by strict selection of papers based on two reviewing by independent referees and scientific and literature editing of the Russian and English versions. Since the beginning of 1995, the International Advisory Board has been established which consists of prominent scientists from all over the world.

The journal was founded in 1936. English version is being published since 1951.
